Town Bikes
Town bikes are fully equipped hybrids. Usually with 700c wheels, they are equipped with full mudguards, rear carriers and often propstands and chainguards. This makes them suitable for shopping and town use and they are often used for going to work or school. Some have baskets already fitted, and a large range of luggage options are available.
Some models, such as the Raleigh Ladies Elegance, detailed below, are very
traditionally styled, whilst others are more modern, for example the Ridgeback
Meteor, available in men's and ladies' styles priced at just under £400. Our
fully equipped models start from about £250, although most riders will feel more
at home with models in the £300 to £500 range.
