Hybrid Bicycles

Suitable both for commuting and leisure riding, hybrids are our best selling models. When fully equipped with mudguards and carrying equipment they are often referred to as Town Bikes. Although some models do have front suspension, more commonly the lack of suspension keeps weight to a minimum and keeps the bike responsive and more suitable for road riding. However, most hybrids will easily cope with canal towpaths, forestry tracks and other light off road duties.

The Ridgeback “Rapide” range will suit many of our customers, both for commuting and leisure riding. For those who want a faster, more efficient ride, the “Flight” range from the same company is more likely to suit. By far our most popular commuting bike is detailed below, the Ridgeback Velocity.
